No. They scan the QR code with their phone camera and the menu opens in the browser. It works on any smartphone. ### Can guests order from their table? Yes, on the Premium plan. The restaurant switches ordering on or off from its dashboard (for example off when it is busy). When it is on, guests tick “Make an order”, choose dishes and quantities, enter their table number or phone number (or both) and send. The order appears instantly in the restaurant's dashboard with a sound, and prints on its receipt printer. Prices always come from the restaurant's menu. ### How much does it cost? Contact ScanDish by WhatsApp or phone (+250781822350) or email (support@scandish.online). A ScanDish team member helps you set up your menu, photos and details, and gives you your login. You can then manage everything yourself. ### Can I change my menu myself? Yes. Prices, dishes, photos, offers and contact details are all edited from your dashboard, and guests see the change on their next scan. ### What is the difference between Standard and Premium? Standard gives you a professional menu page in the ScanDish design with your colours and logo. Premium adds a page designed uniquely for your restaurant (ready within 1–3 working days), your own address such as yourrestaurant.scandish.online, table ordering with automatic receipt printing, and priority support. ### What happens if my subscription ends? Your page stays online 10 more days, then it is hidden from the public until you renew. Your menu, photos and settings are kept, and everything comes back when you renew. ### Is my data safe? Guests stay anonymous — ScanDish counts menu views without collecting guests' personal data. Owner accounts are protected by sign-in, all traffic is encrypted, and ScanDish does not sell data. Guests who order from the table pay the restaurant directly, the way they usually do. ### How do I pay for my subscription? By MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money or bank transfer. Subscriptions are paid in advance for 6 or 12 months, and your dashboard shows the end date. ### What statistics do I see? Your dashboard shows menu views for the last 30 days: views per day, unique visitors, how people arrived (QR code, shared link or direct), whether they used a phone, tablet or computer, and your busiest hours. Premium restaurants that take orders also see every order. ### Is there an app for restaurant owners? Yes. The dashboard installs as an app (“ScanDish Business”) on a computer, Android phone or iPhone, straight from the dashboard's “Download the app” button — no app store needed. On the counter computer it can start automatically when the computer is switched on. ### How many dishes and photos can I add? Up to 60 menu categories with up to 300 dishes each, a photo for every dish, and up to 60 gallery photos. Photos up to 4 MB are accepted and automatically resized so the menu loads fast. Dishes without a photo are shown as clean text lines. ### How much can I customise my page? On Standard you choose your colours, logo, cover photo, offers, gallery and story, and guests can switch between three menu layouts. On Premium the ScanDish team designs a page just for your restaurant. ### Who owns my menu and photos? You do. You keep ownership of everything you add — names, menus, prices, descriptions, logos and photos. If you stop using ScanDish, you can ask for a copy of your content within 90 days. ### What support do I get? Help by WhatsApp, phone and email from the ScanDish team in Kigali.
